Demeter

Demeter is the Greek Goddess of Fertility. I drew this as the cover of my Greek History Final Exam. I had to write a paper on how the Greek used mythology and stories to teach morals and virtue to children and warriors.

I sketched this with my watercolor pencils the last hour of the exam.

She is by far my favorite Greek God(dess)

I drew her pregnant because she is described as a humble, simple, and motherly looking woman. Not a skinny young woman in flashy clothes.
